Hello everyone!
My name is Ariel and I'm new here. I just  started up my livejournal and I think the whole idea of communities is awesome! I'm a huge workout nut, so I wanted to join up and say hello. :)
Basically, I try to fit in at least 4 workouts a week. I do go to my school's gym, but I mainly work out at home. Jump rope, ab exercises, and lifting weights is my routine when I'm at home, but at the gym I mix up the cardio on the machines. I do Martial Arts twice a week and I walk to school every day.
Here are my stats:
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 115

I'm happy with where I am, but I'd like to keep it that way and maintain my flexibility and stamina. My goal is just to be in a group and support fitness as well as keep myself motivated!

Hey :) I'm new to this Community. I saw it and had to join. I love working out. It does wonders for my self esteem. I want to work on my lower abs, hamstrings, triceps. Oh and hips. I would love any tips you have for me. And any tips on diet would be great :) I eat organic :)

Another newbie!

Hey! I'm Claire and I'm new here so thought I'd say hi! I realised recently that I was a total workout junkie so thought this was perfect for me!
I like running, and swimming and I go to the gym regularly and I've just discovered a class called "Cardio Combat" (maybe other gyms have it too?) which is jumping about and punching and kicking etc to music which I really enjoy! I used to play tennis twice a week so I have a weak knee, but I've learnt what I can and can't do and now it doesn't stop me!!!
I'm 5'7" and 137lbs so I'm pretty happy with my weight as I'm pretty muscly, especially my legs! I live in Sheffield without a car so I walk everywhere. I live up one of the steepest hills around here and it's definately my secret to a great bum!
I'm running in the Race for Life in June so I'm training hard, I'm determined to do the 5km in under 35 minutes!

Hey guys- I'm new to this community. I'm a 17 year old student, and I've been working in a gym for almost 2 years now, which is how I really got into fitness. For a while, I relied solely on the fact that I've been dancing for over 10 years to count as my main form of exercise, but once I started working in a place where everything is about health and wellness, I started re-evaluating my options. I had a program designed to help me tone up my muscles, especially in my arms and back, and to maintain the muscles in my legs that I developed through dancing. I also started attending a spinning class occaisionally, and quickly became addicted to a class that incorporates Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates all in one. (If anyone's familiar with the Les Mills group fitness programs, ithose would be RPM, and BodyFlow, and though they offer BodyPump, I haven't been able to take that one nearly as often as I would like to.) My current goals are to maintain a healthy weight for my height (5'6"), and before summer hits, I'd like to take some fat off of my butt and thighs (my major problem areas) for swimsuit season. :D

Hi everyone! I just joined so I figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Hollie, and I'm 15 (sixteen in two months!). Working out is one of the only things in my day that I'll put off other things to do. I love the feeling you get and if I'm having a bad day, it usually puts me in a better mood.

Right now, I'm at 126 pounds, but I wouldn't mind losing a little. I run for about 30-45 minutes everyday. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I know you can't really spot reduce, but my legs and thighs are the main places I would like to work on. Lately, I've been doing sprints instead of running the whole time, at the suggestion of a friend. I end up running the same distance, just one way I do about 8 sprints going as fast as I can (power walking and jogging in between) , and the other I keep a somewhat steady pace. Does anyone know if one way is any better than the other?

My names Kristin, i'm 13 and i wanna lose 50 pounds. So i need as much support i can get, i'm doing the firm once or twice a day, started monday, and i'm eating healthier, but i'm a chocolate addict (As most are) So i need support lol. I have a very understandable love for Joaquin Phoenix and yea...lalala bye! lol

Hi everyone! I just joined here. My name's Emily and I'm 15. I love working out at the gym, I go 5 times a week. I do classes there, a dance class twice a week, kick boxing once a week and yoga/pilates twice. They're all a lot of fun. I also play badminton every week (but I'm not that good hehe)
At the moment I think I weigh about 62 kilograms (or 136 lbs) but I don't really like weighing myself. No matter how hard I work out, I can't seem to lose any weight! Does anyone have any tips? I am getting some muscles and toning especially for yoga and pilates but I'm not getting any thinner!
Well, bye for now! :)
