Remember, Remember

Hey guys- I'm new to this community. I'm a 17 year old student, and I've been working in a gym for almost 2 years now, which is how I really got into fitness. For a while, I relied solely on the fact that I've been dancing for over 10 years to count as my main form of exercise, but once I started working in a place where everything is about health and wellness, I started re-evaluating my options. I had a program designed to help me tone up my muscles, especially in my arms and back, and to maintain the muscles in my legs that I developed through dancing. I also started attending a spinning class occaisionally, and quickly became addicted to a class that incorporates Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates all in one. (If anyone's familiar with the Les Mills group fitness programs, ithose would be RPM, and BodyFlow, and though they offer BodyPump, I haven't been able to take that one nearly as often as I would like to.) My current goals are to maintain a healthy weight for my height (5'6"), and before summer hits, I'd like to take some fat off of my butt and thighs (my major problem areas) for swimsuit season. :D

Hello and welcome! From the sound of it, BodyFlow is what we Australians call BodyBalance. I love that class! I've never tried RPM though. Does your gym have a class called BodyJam? Since you've done a lot of dance you'd probably like it as it's basically a dance class.
BodyFlow is BodyBalance by another name- same releases, same movement though. Unfortunately my schedule only allows me to take it once a week, but what it's done for me is amazing. I'm such a yoga junkie because of it. I looked on the Les Mills website, and BodyJam hasn't hit the United States yet, although they should be releasing it soon. When it does, I will DEFINATELY be pushing for it- from the clips I saw online it looks amazing.
i love the less mills programmes
especially body combat, body jam and body attack
i have recently started doing body pump as well
Body flow is also known as body balance here in the UK too
